1. Where were you born and where are you from ?

I was born in Moscow and I am from Turkey

2. What is your first memory connected to the art world ?

When I met with Galerie Philia, my dreams become real

3. Have you always worked in the art/design field ?

Yes, I have always been involved in the art field.

4. What led you to the design creation ?

My art history teacher in Florence inspired me a lot about the history of design

5. How would you describe your creative process and it influences ?

When I sleep, in my dreams the ideas for a lot of my designs come to me. Shapes , colors, nature, animals, dreams, moments, and movie characters.

6. Could you describe a typical day of your work ?

I imagine, dream, and bring shapes together in 3D and sketching.

7. Why did you choose the specific materials you work with ?

I use different materials according to each design. Though natural wood is my preference because there are many good manufacturers.

8. What are the technical particularities of your creations ?

I have no technical particularities all about inspiration, imagination, creativity, shapes, colors, nature animals, dreams and moments . That’s why sometimes we have hard times in manufacturing process with my manufacturer.

9. What advices could you give to beginning artists who would like to create sculptural design works ?

Passion is the keyword. Be conscious of your passion for art and design.

10. If your works had to belong to a design movement, in which one would you define it ?

Combination of Memphis and modernism

11. What designers and artists have influenced you ?

Ettore Sottsass , Alvar Alto, Frank Lloyd Wright, Zaha Hadid

12. What contemporary designers do you appreciate ?

Mathieu Lehanneur, Kelly Wearstler

13. What contemporary artists (in any kind of art) have you been inspired by ?

Martin Masse and Mathieu Lehanneur

14. If you had to summarize your creations in one word or sentence, what would it be ?

My children
